The exponential growth of Columbia, Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian have made the enterprise larger and more complex. In order to continue to put patients first, we've adopted the Epic platform, setting the stage for future growth and continued excellence in the delivery of clinical care and service.
We know there is strength in numbers, and we are stronger when we work together. Everyone can do their part to ensure this project's success. There will be opportunities throughout the project for faculty, administrators, and staff to be more closely involved with the execution of this plan.
To facilitate this important turning point in the way we deliver patient care, a governance structure has been put in place to guide Columbia, NewYork-Presbyterian, and Weill Cornell Medicine's collaboration to address our specific needs.
Tripartite Governance: Under the tripartite governance structure, each institution will have an equal say in guiding and overseeing Epic Together.
Implementation Team: We've developed and mobilized the teams that will engage in the implementation of the Epic Together project.
