Enterprise Wide RetreatAt the top, the
Enterprise Wide Retreat is comprised of senior leaders from all three institutions and provides high-level strategy. Led by the dean of Columbia University Medical Center, the president and CEO of NewYork-Presbyterian, and the dean of Weill Cornell Medicine, this bi-annual venue provides the oversight of the EMR Executive Committee and of EpicTogether as a whole.
EMR Executive Committee
The EMR Executive Committee coordinates major aspects of the project. Participants include leaders from Columbia, NewYork-Presbyterian, and Weill Cornell Medicine. This committee of equal partners is charged with balancing the needs of all three institutions to collaboratively effect change.
Key Workgroups and Committees
Several workgroups and committees charged with various goals are helping guide the Epic Together project. More groups will be established as we continue to ramp up activities: IT Change Control, Business Continuity, and Communications.
- Clinical Operations Workgroup ensures maximum clinical quality and physician satisfaction.
- Academic Advisory Workgroup ensures support for research and education.
- Access and Revenue Cycle Workgroup maintains and enhances revenue cycle success.
- Alignment Committee on Oversight of Requests for Data (ACORD) ensures efficient and secure data sharing and release.
- Finance Advisory Workgroup ensures that Epic Together is delivered on time and on budget.
- Legal, Privacy, Security, and Compliance Workgroup maintains compliance.
